Former California Deputy Attorney General and Special Counsel with Johnson Fistel Launches Investigation into Inogen (INGN); Investors Suffering Losses Encouraged to Contact Firm

SAN DIEGO- PRNewswire —February 12, 2019

Shareholder Rights Law Firm Johnson Fistel, LLP with the assistance of former California Deputy Attorney General and Special Counsel, Tiffany Johnson, Esq., is investigating potential claims against Inogen, Inc. (“Inogen”) (NASDAQ: INGN) for violations of state and federal securities laws in connection with statements Inogen made to the investing public.

On February 8, 2019, Carson Block, of Muddy Waters Research published a report entitled “Muddy Waters is short Inogen, Inc. (INGN)”. Specifically, Block projected Inogen’s total addressable market to be 1.3 million users, not 3.0 million users as Inogen claims. He relied upon data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) showing the market for Inogen’s oxygen therapy products was shrinking, despite management projecting 7% to 10% market growth.

Then on February 12, 2019, Andrew Left, managing editor of Citron Research (“Citron”) published a report entitled “Citron Exposes Elder Abuse Within Inogen’s Sale Tactics”. In particular, Citron states “we are now unveiling the dirty secrets that we have discovered through months of research. In this report, we will expose Inogen’s dirty reseller network, the systematic abuse of elders by Inogen and resellers, and why the stock will quickly rerate lower to $46.”.
