Johnson Fistel is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Stephen Dolar to its San Diego office. Mr. Dolar’s practice focuses on complex litigation including shareholder derivative suits, securities class actions, consumer class actions, and employment civil rights actions for harassment and discrimination. “We are excited to have Stephen join our team in our California office. His experience and work ethic will help us serve the needs of our clients nationwide,” said Frank J. Johnson, the firm’s co-founding and managing partner.
Mr. Dolar has experience in all phases of litigation, from discovery through trial, in a broad array of disputes, including mass tort cases and representative actions. In his first year of practice, he secured over $6.1 million in cumulative settlements on behalf of his clients. Additionally, in his short time as a licensed attorney, Mr. Dolar already has jury trial experience and has taken numerous depositions.
Mr. Dolar is a graduate from the University of San Diego School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Dolar served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Joel R. Wohlfeil, a trial judge in the San Diego Superior Court. This invaluable experience allowed him to work directly with one of the most active superior court judges in California. Mr. Dolar’s experience observing trials and oral argument in Judge Wohlfeil’s courtroom provides him with significant insight in preparing the strongest possible case for his clients.
Prior to completing his legal studies, Mr. Dolar received his Bachelor of Science degree in economics, summa cum laude, from California Polytechnic State University in 2018.
“It is my privilege to join Johnson Fistel. I look forward to working alongside these great attorneys, their amazing team, and helping our clients achieve their goals.” Stephen said.
