Mr. Dolar is an associate attorney in the San Diego office of Johnson Fistel. He has experience in all phases of litigation, from discovery through trial, in a broad array of disputes, including mass tort cases and representative actions. In his first year of practice, he secured over $6.1 million in cumulative settlements on behalf of his clients.
Areas of Practice
Mr. Dolar’s practice focuses on complex litigation including shareholder derivative suits, securities class actions, consumer class actions, and employment civil rights actions for harassment and discrimination. In his short time as a licensed attorney, he has already been through a jury trial, from voir dire to verdict, and taken numerous depositions.

Experience
After law school, Mr. Dolar sharpened his trial skills by completing a 4-week trial advocacy program with the San Diego Inn of Court. In 2020, while in law school, Mr. Dolar served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Joel R. Wohlfeil, a trial judge in the San Diego Superior Court. This invaluable experience allowed him to work directly with one of the most active superior court judges in California. Judge Wohlfeil provided Mr. Dolar direct feedback on his legal research, helped improve his persuasive legal writing skills, and gave him guidance on trials and advocacy. Mr. Dolar’s experience observing trials and oral argument in Judge Wohlfeil’s courtroom provides him with significant insight in preparing the strongest possible case for his clients.
Education and Awards
Mr. Dolar received his Bachelor of Science degree in economics, summa cum laude, from California Polytechnic State University in 2018. He attended law school at the University of San Diego School of Law and earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2021.
