Sunstrom in the firm\u2019s Georgia office where he will focus his practice on complex commercial litigation, including securities class actions and shareholder derivative actions. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI\u2019m proud to be part of an excellent team of lawyers and 2019 is already shaping up to be a fantastic year,&#8221; said Frank J. Johnson, Johnson Fistel\u2019s managing partner. \u201cToward that end, I\u2019m pleased to announce that Adam has joined the team in our Georgia office as an associate and will add great value to our firm\u2019s clients.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mr. Sunstrom graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2018, where he served as a Notes Editor on the Georgia Journal of International &#038; Comparative Law and was a member of Mock Trial finishing as a Quarterfinalist in the J. Melvin England Mock Trial Competition. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of West Georgia in 2015 with a degree in Political Science.  <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During his third year of law school, Mr. Sunstrom interned at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in the Enforcement Division\u2019s Complex Financial Instruments Unit, which investigates fraud in connection with sophisticated financial instruments. While at the SEC, Mr. Sunstrom investigated insider trading violations and the manipulation of asset valuations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prior to joining Johnson Fistel, Mr. Sunstrom worked for the Georgia Secretary of State as an enforcement attorney, where he conducted investigations and brought enforcement actions against entities and individuals for violations of the Georgia Uniform Securities Act.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI am excited about this opportunity and look forward to working with great people and exceptional lawyers,\u201d said Adam Sunstrom.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Johnson Fistel is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Adam J.
