Hicks<\/p>\n<p>link to article: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/jxURGWaEeH\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/t.co\/jxURGWaEeH<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/M7X6HC22lU\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/M7X6HC22lU<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Johnson Fistel, LLP (@JF_LLP) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JF_LLP\/status\/1487129354282938380?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">January 28, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><strong><u>What inspired you to pursue a legal career?<\/u><\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Variety is the spice of life, and I learned early on that a legal career would open up the world.&nbsp; Every day at Johnson Fistel, I am working on cases involving a range of different publicly traded companies in an array of industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\"><li><strong><u>How would you describe yourself as a person?<\/u><\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>I would describe myself as an optimist.&nbsp; With so many variables in play with litigating complex cases, I think one needs to have an ever-present sense of optimism to take the deliberate and decided steps necessary to lead a case to the best result for the client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\"><li><strong><u>Who have been your strongest influences in life?<\/u><\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>My entire family.&nbsp; Having such a variety of different family members has allowed me to learn different ways of enjoying and being successful in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\"><li><strong><u>In terms of the work at Johnson Fistel, what aspects are you most passionate about and why?<\/u><\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>I have had the opportunity to experience a variety of different aspects of the legal profession\u2014clerk, prosecutor, assistant attorney general.&nbsp; With each step, the best aspect of the job was learning who I was helping with the work I do day-in and day-out.&nbsp; At Johnson Fistel, with the nature of the work being a variety of class actions, I feel that I am helping the greatest number of people each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\"><li><strong><u>What is your proudest personal achievement?<\/u><\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>At this point it is a bit dated, but I would still have to say earning the rank of Eagle Scout.&nbsp; I have found that taking the steps necessary to earn the rank, like taking on leadership roles and working through complex projects, allowed me to develop useful tools and skills for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"6\"><li><strong><u>Turning to the fun questions, what is your favorite movie?<\/u><\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Naturally, I have to say it depends on the day, but if I have to pick just one, it would be Reservoir Dogs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"7\"><li><strong><u>Outside of work, what activities or hobbies do you enjoy most?<\/u><\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Mountain biking, fishing, backpacking&nbsp;.&nbsp;.&nbsp;.&nbsp;essentially, almost anything that gets me out into nature with family and friends.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What inspired you to pursue a legal career?
