Why Is Johnson Fistel Investigating Integra LifeSciences?

The investigation concerns whether Integra adequately disclosed the extent of flooding-related manufacturing disruptions at its Cincinnati facility and their effects on its financial outlook.

On July 29, 2026, after the flooding had occurred, Integra told investors that it did not expect the flooding to materially affect its 2026 revenue or earnings guidance.

However, on October 2, 2026, Integra disclosed approximately $7 million in lost third-quarter revenue from the flooding and an expected additional fourth-quarter revenue impact of $15 million to $20 million. The Company also stated that the Cincinnati facility was not expected to return to full manufacturing operations until the second quarter of 2027.

Integra lowered its 2026 revenue guidance from $1.654 billion–$1.695 billion to $1.634 billion–$1.654 billion and reduced its adjusted earnings-per-share guidance from $2.40–$2.50 to $2.30–$2.40. Following the news, shares fell $3.41, or approximately 21.2%, closing at $12.68 on October 2, 2026.

Johnson Fistel is examining when management knew of the extent and likely duration of the manufacturing disruption and whether the Company’s July 29 statements, forecasts, and disclosures appropriately reflected that information.
