Attorney Profile- Q&A with Anthony E. Mance

  1. Where were you born and what makes that city special?

I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, which is in Northwest Ohio on Lake Erie. For me, Toledo is special because it has a world-class art museum and zoo. It also has a lot of parks and wildlife preserves which are great for running and hiking.

  1. What activities or hobbies do you enjoy the most?

I enjoy photography, travel, reading, visiting museums, and going on adventures with my wife, Feifei.

  1. What did you do prior to graduating law school?

Prior to law school, I attended Purdue University where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and minors in history and literature.

  1. What drew you to the practice of law?

I have always enjoyed research, writing, and solving complex issues. I have found law to be a field with endless possibilities to engage in these endeavors while making a substantive difference.

  1. How long have you been a practicing attorney?

I have been practicing for almost 15 years now.

  1. How would you describe yourself as a person?

Open-minded and always looking to learn something new.

  1. Do you have a bucket list? If so, what does that list include?

I would love to go on an African safari and photograph the wildlife, people, and landscapes. I would also love to do a road trip across Iceland.

  1. If you were an animal, which one would you want to be?

A dolphin, they seem to have a good time.
